MAC Stereo Rose. It's a product I've heard about so many times before. Alas, it was yet another product on my wish list which was more or less known as 'limited edition'. Those two words which can put that extra little bit of pressure on you clicking the purchase link when you're between two minds on whether to take the plunge.
If I'm going to be honest I'd forgotten about it since I plunged into a deep make up depression last time around when I couldn't find in stock anywhere, it seemed that every stockist on earth had sold out as soon as they'd announced they had it in stock.
I was wondering around the newly refurbished beauty floor in Selfridges, and meandered over to the MAC section. I walked past the aisle ends, and a product caught my eye. As usual, I had a little swatch, even though it was clearly a powder, it felt super creamy, and when applied to the back of my hand, looked amazing.
It had a shimmer to it, without having huge chunks of glitter flying around everywhere. The colour was a beautiful mixture between pink and peach. It had a very spring feel about it. For want of a better phrase, I was in love. It was only when I turned the product over to look at the name, I saw the elusive 'Stereo Rose'.
It was mine that day, and I've had it on every day since. It's such an easy shade to wear, and for me, acts as both a blush and highlight. It adds a beautiful dimension to the cheeks, and I'm pretty positive it's going to be my go to blush for this season.
Stereo Rose, £22 from MAC, limited edition.
Will you be rushing to pick up Stereo Rose this time around? Or do you have your own blush/highlight hybrid you turn a cheek to?
